This streamlined approach lets you completing your MS degree sooner compared to the conventional full-time MS pathway—maximizing both your time and investment.
Students can earn various types of master’s degrees, including Master of Science (MS), Master of Engineering (MEng), and Master of Fine Arts (MFA).

Students often obtain their BS and MS in the same field or department. However, with advanced planning, some students complete the combined BS/MS program in two different fields—for example, a BS in Civil Engineering and an MS in Fire Protection Engineering.
Please note: Undergraduate credit may not be counted toward a graduate business degree.

If you’re currently enrolled in an MS program and eligible for the BS/MS option, connect with your department to transition. International students should also reach out to the International Student and Scholars Office for guidance.
To transition into the BS/MS program, you’ll need:
✔ An approved Plan of Study (check with your department)
✔ A Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree Program Course Designation Form
